Couples Therapy

Some of the issues that couples seek help with include concerns about conflict resolution, emotional intimacy, trust, infidelity, sexuality, opening up relationships, trauma, past abuse, ADD/ADHD, anxiety, substance use, finance, grief, life transitions, separation, codependency, and cultural/racial understanding. I use the Developmental Model, Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, Gottman Method, and other orientations to suit the couple's goals.

Individual Therapy

I view problematic behaviors as an adapted solution to the past challenge and trauma. My approach is to understand your processing styles and to combine talk therapy and somatic/body-based therapy to address persistent issues.

Areas where I can help: relationship, family conflicts, anxiety, PTSD, communication, performance, depression, identity, low self-esteem, acculturation, anger management, life transitions, and spirituality.

Relationship Coaching

I have been providing relationship coaching internationally for over two decades. If you are interested in developing conflict resolution skills and tools to deepen intimacy and pleasure but you don't live in WA, you may consider coaching with me. Please schedule a free consultation with me first to determine if coaching is suitable for you and your partner.

Essential Relationship Package

Are you an emerging couple; engaged, recently married, or simply committed with each other? This Essential Relationship (ER) package, commonly known as premarital counseling, is designed to build a strong foundation for your relationship and to learn essential skills to protect your future. You don't have to wait for problems to see a therapist. If couples therapy is like an operation to treat a problem, then Essential Relationship work is preventative care for your relational well-being. Please contact me for my current package and fees.

Rates

The full fees are as listed. I offer a limited number of reduced rate appointments for those who are in financial need . Currently, I am paneled with First Choice Health Network and Kaiser Permanente PPO insurance companies.

Rates for Couples Therapy
Intake: 80 minutes $225
Ongoing: 80 minutes $225

Rates for Individual Therapy
Intake: 80 minutes $225
Ongoing: 53 minutes $145

*The rates for coaching sessions are the same as therapy rates.

All my services are provided through Telehealth. As convenient it is, video-session is not for everyone. Please consult with me if you have any concerns.

I may provide you with a superbill if I am not paneled with your insurance. If you have out-of-network coverage, you may be reimbursed. Please check with your insurance company. Typically, couples therapy is not covered by insurance.

Cancellations require at least 48 hours advance notice to avoid the full charge. This cancellation fee may be waived if we are able to reschedule the appointment with the same M-F week.
